What does the $85 service call fee cover?
The $85 service call covers dispatching a licensed plumber to your home, on-site evaluation of the issue, and a clear recommendation with an exact price before any work begins. It applies per visit and is in addition to the services performed — so you're never guessing what a repair will cost.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes — on larger projects. Remodels, whole-house repipes, and water heater replacements get a free, no-obligation estimate. Everyday fixes like running toilets and leaking fixtures are handled as standard service calls, so you get help fast without waiting on a quote.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Gilbert and serve the East Valley, including Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Apache Junction, Sun Lakes, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley.
What are your hours? Do you offer emergency or after-hours service?
We work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with Saturdays by appointment and Sundays closed. We don't run an after-hours emergency dispatch — that's part of how we keep prices fair. You can book online any time of day and we'll confirm your appointment for the next available slot.
How does online booking work?
Pick your service and a time that works for you — it takes about a minute. We confirm the appointment, a licensed plumber arrives in your window, diagnoses the issue, and gives you the price. Work starts only after you approve it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Garrett Plumbing, Inc. is licensed, bonded, and insured — Arizona ROC #159620. We've been family owned and operated in Gilbert since 1985.
Will you try to sell me a replacement I don't need?
No — the opposite. Our approach since 1985: if we can repair something with confidence rather than replace it, we will, because it saves you money. We stock hard-to-find parts and fix fixtures other plumbers would rather rip out. When replacement genuinely is the better value, we'll show you why and let you decide.
What brands do you install?
Rheem and Bradford White for water heaters, Moen and Delta for faucets and shower valves, Toto for premium toilets, and Grundfos for recirculating pumps — proven brands with parts we can get quickly if anything ever needs service.
Can I supply my own fixture and have you install it?
Yes. If you've already picked out a faucet, toilet, or other fixture, we're happy to install it. We recommend Moen or Delta for availability of repair parts, but we'll install whatever you provide.
